If you’re willing to spend 3-5 hours per week, you might be lucky and find a good connection.

I couldn’t find specific stats on the number of users on this site or their ages, but at first glance, after logging in, this site has a significant number of active members.

Signing up on Affairdating.com is pretty straightforward. You won't need to share a ton of details - the only info needed is your gender, a bit about your hobbies and general interests, your birthday (you must verify that you’re at least 18 years old), and a valid email address that you will be asked to validate before moving forward.

Once you have that basic info sorted, you’ll be asked to come up with a username and password. Just a heads up: usernames that use any profanity will not be accepted.

Other required info is your current location, your body type, your relationship status, etc. Of course, you’re given the option to skip this part of the sign-p process and revisit it later, but you might as well just get it out of the way before diving in, right?

Before you can wrap up registration to AffairDating.com, you’ll have to provide at least one profile pic. No dick pics allowed! The photos are not allowed to be overly provocative. I was actually surprised at how strict they can be about pics and usernames. I thought it would be a little more of a free-for-all, but they’re obviously working on keeping it a bit classy.

The search bar is placed conveniently at the center of the bar and has a good deal of preset filters to help you find partners that meet your criteria. You can also customize your account and switch between different settings as quickly as you’d like.

Like many dating sites, I find myself on today, the homepage displays XL photos of possible matches in my area with the possibility to filter and view only new members or only members who are currently online. You can like a profile photo without having to click into the profile or even jump directly into a chat.

AffairDating Profile & User Quality

The profiles on Affairdating share all the same information you give at sign-up: likes, dislikes, hobbies, relationship status, location, etc. The profiles are made public to all site members - nothing is locked away like on some other affair sites.

Each profile also has a space dedicated to a personal bio section. Unsurprisingly, this was left nearly blank on a majority of the profiles I came across while making this AffairDating website review. But I did come up with some gems from time to time.

Overall, the profiles are pretty standard and give a fair amount of information about the person. One major positive is the obligatory profile photo that I mentioned earlier in this AffairDating review. All profiles have at least one photo, and many of the site members have been kind enough to add multiple pics for us to have an idea of what they really look like.

However, it became obvious that a good number of the profiles I was finding for people in the area were fake. Only makes sense, right? It’s hard to believe that there are a few hundred people in my neighborhood looking to have an affair at this very moment.

The features on the AffairDating site are pretty standard. There's the basic search engine to help you find profiles that match your criteria, with a selection of filters like eye color, body type, hobbies, etc. There’s also a pretty standard email and instant chat exchange available.

Other than these very basic features, users can keep tabs on who’s been peeking at their profile by clicking on their “views” icon, and you can create a favorites list, of course.

But honestly, the features on this site are much more straightforward and vanilla than I had imagined they would be. AffairDating.com provides only the basic tools/features necessary to help you connect with others.

With such a lack of features, it’s not surprising to learn that there is no AffairDating app available for site members. However, the browser version functions on your mobile phone without being too bothersome. The layout works well, but messaging can be a bit of a pain, with many words being cut off from view when typing.

How Much Does AffairDating Cost?

Registration and use of the search feature are free, but any communication will need a Premium Membership.

Aside from the daily option, there are 3 subscription options available:

I don’t think I have to break down the math for you to see that the 3-month subscription works out to be much lower than a month-to-month.

If you’re not ready to fork over the money for a whole month or longer without knowing that the platform is a good fit for you, there’s a 3-day trial available for only $1.49.

As frequent readers of this site already know, I’m a big fan of 2 and 3-day trials, which I think is just enough time to get a conversation going. By the end of the first day on a trial, I pretty much have an idea of whether a site truly has anything to offer me or not. But as a heads up, Affairdating.com works like many other dating sites in that it will automatically charge your credit card for a full month once the trial is up. If you want to avoid this from happening to you, especially if you find that the site is not for you, make sure to unsubscribe. This is also true for any of the three durations of subscriptions. Once the subscription is up, it is automatically renewed. The site does not issue any refunds, so be sure you are keeping track of where you are in your subscription.

How Secure is AffairDating?

I have confidence - you have to for this sort of gig - so I’m not shy about acknowledging that I’m a conventionally attractive guy. Even so, I do not consider myself attractive enough to receive close to a dozen messages within a couple of minutes after signing up to do this AffairDating website review.

This screams bots and fake accounts, which, of course, makes one a bit paranoid about being hacked or scammed. I did not have anything bad happen to me during my time spent there for this Affairdating.com review, but I did dig in to see just how protected my info is on the platform before using it.

The site has SSL encryption, but it seems useless as the site states in its privacy policy that by registering on the site, you’re giving them the right to use your data for marketing and other purposes. This information also includes your photos! It’s really not a good look for the site. Having an affair is supposed to be discreet, and the possibility of your profile photo and other info being used may not out you, but it surely doesn’t feel safe.

As if things couldn’t get worse, Customer Support is slow-moving, so the platform as a whole is really missing a sense of security.

I don’t think I will ever truly find myself on a platform where there aren't a few hundred or even thousands of fake profiles. This doesn’t bother me too much anymore. I’m a dating site champ and know how to decipher the fakes from the real deal. However, using member photos and other information for marketing purposes and having no real Customer Support is something I can’t really get behind.
